Title:  Account Director, Brand Licensing

Location: Remote - US

Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

As an Account Director (Sales) for Grand American Service Brand Licensing Program, you’ll oversee licensing opportunities for public use of the prestigious J.D. Power brand, advertising claims, and the famous Grand American ServiceAward. Specifically, you will sell to, manage and develop a portfolio of pre-qualified accounts. The position will contribute significantly to the achievement of Grand American Service Licensing sales targets through account coordination and relationship development, tailored pitches to clients, multi-product cross-selling, and more.

 Responsibilities:

  • Deliver client-tailored presentations with professionalism, confidence, and enthusiasm.

  • Exceed annual sales target

  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing for all owned opportunities

  • Manage accurate sales pipeline, records, and activities.

  • Build and maintain relationships with senior level (VP, SVP and EVP) and C-Level (CMO, Chief Customer Officer, etc.) contacts at assigned accounts

  • Promptly respond to client communications via Outlook and log activity within Salesforce

  • Collaborate with marketing department on promotional campaigns, which support Brand Licensing sales and program awareness

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA is a plus

  • 6+ years of direct, individual B2B sales experience required

    • KPI supported record of exceeding personal sales targets and increasing revenues/sales to existing or new clients               

  • Experience selling high dollar engagements, products, and services

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: verbal, written, and presentation

  • Ability to maintain enthusiasm, positive attitude, and composure under pressure

  • Proficient with enterprise software: Salesforce/ CRM, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook). FileMaker Pro is a plus.

  • Experience working in/with Marketing or Advertising is a plus.

This position is part of a fast-paced, dynamic, and motivated team tasked with licensing the use of the Grand American Service brand, awards, products and services across the industries we serve. The team is comprised of account directors, marketing, and sales operations staff committed to delivering best-in-class client support and service.

Title:  Research Analyst

Location: US and Remote

Reports to: Research Manager

The Role: You will support the cross functional study design for our customer satisfaction survey research based business. The primary duties of the Research Design team include working with the internal key stakeholders to develop new or revised survey content, to ensure that survey content meets J.D. Power’s high standards, and to develop and maintain the sample design for our syndicated research products. You will also work closely with the Data Science team to ensure studies are designed to maintain scientific integrity and quality and that syndicated studies are produced in an efficient and timely manner.

The Impact: The Analyst will be an individual contributor a team of over 20 Research analysts. You are expected to be a self-starter who can manage a study from start to finish and work with other departments within the company’s matrix environment. You and the team will ensure that J.D. Power studies are developed or redesigned to meet client needs in a timely manner and ensure that the production of the syndicated study is efficient and smooth.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that survey and sample plan designs meet J.D. Power standards

  • Lead the development of survey and sample plan specifications

  • Ability to run multiple studies simultaneously

  • Work with survey programming and data processing specialists to ensure study designs are implemented as planned

  • Develop and perform QA processes on survey data to ensure data validity (cleaning specs, skip logic/programming)

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met

  • Provide resolution when issues arise

  • Identify and implement efficiencies into the projects

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in market research and/or related fields

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

  • Ability to write technical documents

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word)

  • Proficient in SPSS 

  • Python experience is not required, but preferred
